Wanting to add 1/2" lift to my current lift.

I'm wanting to add a little height to my front suspension. I just need coils so I don't have to destroy my stock ones. I already have a toytec lift so my shocks are aftermarket. I'm getting the ome 885 coils from Toytec. My friend said I might need the top spacers so I won't have the taco lean. Idk if I need the spacers or not. Would I get the taco lean if I didn't get the spacers or should I get them?

Get the 1/2" top plate for driver side to compensate for lean, and 1/4" plate for passenger side. Or, just get 1/2" for both sides cuz leanin' is cool

 

Idk what size spacers I would be getting. Toytec only has the add top spacer option. Doesn't say what size they are

 

Do you have stock top hats or top plates? If so you might need longer studs to run a half inch spacer. There might be enough thread there but i believe toytec recommends longer top plate studs with a spacer. Not really sure about it just something you might want to look into. And if your confused about sizes i know wheelers sells to different sizes

 

You will probably have taco lean without spacers on the 885s. I have almost 1/2" of lean with the OME trim packer and no spacers. You could also just get a 1/4 spacer for the driver side only.

I don't know exactly what lift it is or what's done to it, but all I know is that it's a Toytec suspension lift with 2.5" in the front and 2" AAL. But since the coils are stock, the front is only 1.85". I think. If not 1.85, 2". So all I need to know is if I need the top spacers with the coils.

 

So 5100s with stock coils? And your getting 885s?

Nvm. It's confusing. Mainly because the truck came with the lift and idk what exact lift it is. But I know to get the 885 coils with top spacers

 

You should pull the wheel off and take a picture, i bet someone here could tell you what you have. Also take a measurement from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender flare when your parked on level ground and then you can determine how much lift you have and roughly how much more you will get with the 885s and top plate spacer.
