    ^Good idea.... that is easy enough to find. We have a good grocery store with some high quality meats and seafood. I have found rabbit there and the butchers are really accommodating. It is very expensive compared to a regular grocery store but it is worth it, fresh and usually local.

    yeah we had a smaller one for years but i think the heating element started going out. so we got a new one and bigger one. :D i use it all the time with chicken and fries, and now what ever i can think of.

    I just found out that the local store has frozen octopus. I should have asked how much it was but I am getting it anyway, who am I kidding. I am going to make stewed octopus. Getting excited.....dont worry pics to follow

    oh that sucks. i thought i was going to have to go on that diet a few years ago. i have the jean for it or what ever. but i’m not allergic or what ever to gluten. i went on it for a few months and it did not change how i felt at all so i stopped it.

    Well I am making beef osso bucco, they had no veal shanks. I am making the stewed octopus as well. I want to see if people will try it.

    Here is the osso bucco before I added the juice. It was dredged lightly in flour and fried in a porcelain pot.

    I added stock and tomato paste with onions,carrots,celery and herbs as well. It smells so good in here.

    I am waiting for the octopus to thaw then I can start on that....everything is prepped and ready waiting for it to cook sux I am anxious.

    Well the guests already told us that they are not fond of octopus. I just want them to try it. My daughter ate a decent size octopus when we were in Mexico just over a year ago. She loved it. She did get a kick of an octopus sitting in our sink.
