Thanks for going above and beyond to help me out. What is so amazing is that this truck was inspected by Toyota and documented to be eligible for a frame replacement. For whatever reason the person who owned it sold it instead of getting the frame replaced.
From what I have gathered if I purchase it I can get the frame replaced as long as it is in the shop and the work has begun by the end of the year. I think I am going to pass on it though.

    Ben probably knows the specifics..
But I always heard that if the ammo is stored seperate, and the gun is further than an arm's reach then you're good. Best bet is have the gun in back seat or trunk and ammo in glove box or storage container under front seat, something like that.;)

Yeah thats pretty much what I gathered from the Virginia Police website. I suspect the laws may change a bit if some weapons get banned though.

If it's the same for handguns: gun in a location inaccessable from the driver, and separated from ammo. Ie. Gun in trunk, ammo in the front.
Federal law states you can drive from a state where it's legal to a state where it's legal as long as you don't make any non-essential stops.

Upper ball joints are much easier to replace that the lowers. Unfortunately, you have to remove the coil over assy to have room for the press:/ 2-3 hrs to complete.

Not sure. The general assembly passed a law a couple of years back that extended the same protections and rights to carry on your property.... to your car. In other words, you no longer need a concealed carry permit to conceal carry in your car. There were some limitations, primarily being that the firearm could not be loose and concealed i.e. under a seat. If it was loose, it needed to be in plain view and if concealed it needs to be in a container. I think that was more to prevent accidental discharges.

Holly sht! Really? You can totally this truck for $6000 or less and then get a new frame!

Even if you dont like it, you could easily sell for a good profit. I didnt know the frame was up for replacement. Why by the end of the year?
