This is the one I use on my iPhone. It's an app called "wheelin". It's pretty cool but only works in landscape mode. I like that you can use photos of your own vehicle. I will "ghost" a mark of your peak on either pitch or roll and keep a constant visual representation of your current pitch/roll with the needle and with the numeric display.

Im so :jelly: of your RTT setup. That or the bed rack/rtt combo is what i've been researching and this post has helped me lean more toward mounting it more on top of the hood on a rack, i was too concerned about weight but it seems that you're doing just fine and i dont weigh that much (155)

Do they make any RTT with nice rain flys? It looks like most are designed for fair weather. I live in BC and would need one to be just about waterproof.

Ya I knw how that is...91 sucks ass during rush hour. We would all go in on a fast pass but that only gets you barely past Yorba Linda. We would usually do a " tweeter run" leave at like 12am and get there just in time to pick a blind. Idk if you knw the Adams or the Vega fam or the khuen fam but that's who I hunt with when I'm home. My buddy brad adams has a lifted silver fj with black wheels and the khuen fam have a white trailer with goose and duck siloets on it.

Haha, rad. You can probably just copy the mounts BajaRack has, shouldn't be too tricky to fab up, (especially for someone like ol Jlee, who's handy with the steel, if ya know what I mean) its great that the Dbl cabs have the mounting holes Pre-drilled so you can bolt right into the cab, no drilling, welding etc.

Ya man! That's the best part of Tacomaworld, you can literally use it as a tool to fine tune your plans for your truck! I had about 10 different configurations in my head (custom rack, yakima basket, bajarack basket, square utility, etc etc) before I made up my mind. I was hitting up every person on here with a roof rack, getting different insight and ideas. It's great to be able to see what works and what doesn't.

I made brackets to mount my light bar to the same holes as of now. But boy I can feel the drag up top with the rack + bar. lol

I'd like to get something that throws a long beam. It looks clean, and relatively hidden. By long throw, i want something that is going to light up several hundred yards in front of me. If I copied your setup, I wouldn't have to fork out the money for a Satoshi with lights behind the grill, although I know those bars aren't cheap.

I'd love to see pics of how you have it mounted up, and also some night shots. That's only if you have time and don't mind though. Don't go taking special pictures for me if it isn't convenient.

Hate to break it to you..no LED bar is going to cast out epic spots over a few hundred yards. LEDs just don't have the power and lenses yet. I think they will within a few years. But not now. Just aren't on the same level.

Here's a link to where I posted the install. However I've told others who have asked that my methods may have not been the most sound. While the bar fits perfectly, is super solid, an damn near impossible to steal, it was a MAJOR pain in the ass to get it on...

I'll snap some shots for ya, just might be a while. It's hella bright, an projects pretty far. I guess I don't have much to compare it to, but it lights up the road plenty far in front.

I think most are waterproof with the fly on. Otherwise they probably wouldn't really work for anybody :notsure:

Love that rack on the outside of the bestop! I think you have just shown me one of my next mods! Have been wanting a RTT but didn't want to loose my bestop! Not sure I want the weight that high but sometimes you have to sacrifice and that is less expensive than a trailer for the time being.

thanks guys, I'll be putting together a semi-diy thread for informational purposes as a lot of people have been asking about the rack.
