I'm about 90% sure in the case of alligators you don't have to pay for them to be abated.

I'm licensed veterinary technician and my advice would to go to a local feed and seed store and purchase a trap cage (used to catch raccoons) I would bait it with cat food as well as other goodies and catch him and remove him yourself.. then you get to have a trap that you can keep and use for many other projects. but that's my 2 cents.

    actually...

    it's "murder"...not kill.

and nothing has happened to it...still part of Gods law...still hangs in the US Supreme Court...still the basis of many laws.

    True.
    True.
    False.

Lizards are so cool. Komodo dragons are a huge monitor lizard, so they'd be a cousin of this critter. And they eat large animals. Their bite is so dirty they simply bite once then wait for infection to set in, tracking their kill from a safe distance until it's too weak to fight.

I heard once of a guy who died in his apartment and his several pet monitor lizards were out of their cages, and they snacked on him for several days before his neighbors called the police about the smell from his apartment. *Shiver*

Yay!!!! A happy ending, I'm glad to read it. I didn't want this critter killed. Sure, invasive species must be controlled and shouldn't be left in the wild. But it wasn't this critter's fault some derp let him go.
