That's cheap. I pay just over $3000 a semester. My wife is a grad student and hers is over $5000 a semester:eek: Both of those are not including books or the mandatory health insurance:frusty: College is getting stupid expensive anymore...

They need all the support they can get. I've bitched since I got mine, they bend and distort. Mine are fubared and I'm cutting them off shortly for some new AK07 sliders.

Military only pays up to $4500 a year, so I usually end up paying over $1500 a year out of pocket plus books and stuff. GI bill is great though!

I'm still active though which steals tons of time from me. I won't EVER be able to use 4500 a year worth of schooling while still active.

Yeah the 9/11 is great if you have 100% of the active duty time in. I only get about 60% of it though, so my Chap 17 GI bill with FTA is better right now. If I manage to run my chap 17 out before I finish then I will switch over to the 9/11 though.

    Yep, Idaho State University

    Yep:D
Chap 16 is the reserve GI Bill, Chap 17 is the reserve GI Bill for those that have served a 12 month deployment. I think the Post 9/11 is Chap 33 or something like that. The Chap 17 is also called REAP. Not sure what else the Chap 16 is called.

Speaking of the GI Bill in Oregon... I know the community college down here (Southwestern Oregon CC) pays for 2 years of tuition (without using the GI bill) for military members that deployed overseas. I'm not sure if it's just restricted to OIF/OEF or if its any overseas deployment.

My embarrassment for the night.. Walking home from the fitness center in our little community and saw a pretty nice red 2nd gen with satoshi grille and 2 hellas behind it sitting in front of a townhouse by mine and I shout
"Hey aren't you on Tacoma World?"
He blankly stares back with a stern "no."
*awkward walk to my townhouse 3 down from him..

Yeah that one gets mad nasty. I had a friend who one year only made it through because he could drive close enough to a semi to see the tail lights - everything else was white!
