New England B.S. Thread

I'd like to get an 8" axle from a junk yard either with an elocker or just add the elocker 3rd, but a lunch box is soo much cheaper.

 

Thing I don't understand is the gm z71 package vehicles all have an Eaton auto locking diff. But the are not harsh, or noticeable at all. you don't even know it's there. But all the aftermarket auto lockers are noticeable, clunk, cause faster tire wear, etc

 

I took a few minutes and made this map in google maps. Please edit it and add as much detail as you can for the whole New England area!

Im not trying to find club land or anything like that. Just getting an idea of the area and all that New England has to offer and help a little bit to find camping areas and more public areas to wheel

44 Trail is wrong and I don't like sharing the location as it is a great place that many enjoy and don't want it to be shut down. Come to a meet if you want to know the location. I think John, Rob and Myself know the way there. Also Cedar Swap isn't that bad i have been there

 

Totally understandable. Im not trying to step on anyones toes or find club land without being a member just trying to help a little with some of the more public places in new england.

 

? I thought our axles were not compatible with the elocker 3rd. I thought we would have to swap the whole axle out.

 

Edit ya we do have 8", different bolt pattern for the 3rd flange compared to TRD axle.

I can edit my post if you guys want, I tried to be as ambiguous as possible for that reason and not post more than was posted earlier in the thread for the meet up spot last Sunday.

 

Sorry about that guys. The thread i made for a CT meet isnt helping. I wasnt intending to use your RI/CT spot as a location. I was planning on going to another spot, but with so many CT guys interested my spot might be to small. Alot of the trails have dead ends so it wouldnt work well if there is more than just a few guys. I will try to keep any exact locations to PMs
