i am planning on lifting my truck 3 inches with 285-75-17 at. i know someone else has. so lets see it...........

i have that set up , but not a pic right now .. i i cranked down my coils to 2.5 for better ride and now tire rubs on the frame mounts..
im probably going to down grade so i get my power/mileage back and no more rub on frame.

 

Perfect fit. The other pics are chrome Helos had 325 60 18 Kumhos. I sold them and replaced with the matte black.

 

u have a 3" with 285/75-16 not 17s. and currently 305 70 16. sams height just wider.

looks like a lot of these have 285/70/17's instead of the desired 75/17s that the poster wanted. The only one I know of is Menametony's truck. His looks great IMO and I plan on going with a similar tire when I need new ones next summer.

Does this size tire require an wheel spacers? like the Spidertrax? Or is the Toytec 3'' lift enough for clearance?

 

I have a LRO 3" front 1" rear kit, with 285/70/75 tires. Love it! It's been too cold and the truck too dirty to spend time cleaning her up and doing a full photo shoot. Someday

For stock wheels yes, dont know if you mean 285/75/17 or 285/70/17 but either way, to wide to run with stock wheels without spacers

What about for aftermarket wheels? I am looking at the ATX artillery wheels or the M/t Classic locks with those size tires, what size wheel would work? 17x9 with 12 offset? or would it need to be an inch skinnier?

 

9 inch would work with 285s. What tire size are you referring to, the thread title is 285/75/17 which is a 34 i believe. Most guys run 285/70/17 or 285/75/16 (just under 33") with a 3 inch lift. I am no wheel and tire expert, there is better guys to ask than me and there is alot of threads on the topic. But i believe if the wheel has 4.5" backspacing you will not rub the UCAs with 285s. You might rub elsewhere tho.

 

yea the wheel i am looking at has a 4.52'' backspacing, and im looking at 285/75/r16 tires to be ran with the 3'' lift on a set of 16x9 atx wheels

 

How about 285/65/18 with a 3" lift pics/problems
