AR-15 BS Thread

Well, that's what I get for procrastinating on buying more mags, now I'm assed out with one "rebuild" kit.

I'm guess all will be back to normal around march.

 

Hopefully its sooner...I can't find ammo to go out and shoot and its really annoying

 

So all the preppers who stocked up ahead of time aren't so crazy all of the sudden

 

My wife six months ago " Your nickel and diming yourself with these magazines here and there. What do you need all these magazines for?" Today "remember you asking me why I needed all those magazines? See this ebay add?" Her

 

Magpul has pretty tall order for 1,000,000+ p-mags. Part of the problem is that they were already low on stock because they are switching over manufacturing to the new generation. Be patient and don't spend more than 18 bucks for a p-mag.

 

Hopefully they won't get banned and the market will be flooded with them and they drop to $8/ mag

 

this, then my grandpa will be able to get a bunch for his AR.

 

I can't explain my level of annoyance with the situation of mags. I actually went to sleep mad the other night because I couldn't find any.

After all the assault rifle BS going on me and my dad decided to pick up another AR. He wanted to get one around fathers day 2013 and after all the recent events we decided to get another one now. Mine is the bushmaster with magpul flat dark earth furniture. The second AR we picked up was another basic bushmaster, i went and shopped around and couldnt find a colt or smith and wesson. Ended up with the basic bushmaster at academy. Got a ton of plans for it which is good because this platform has a ton of choices!

I picked up a Sig M400 Enhanced at Walmart the other night for $899. It was the last one they had and while I was going through the paper work they got 3 phone calls asking how many AR's they had and two different guys came by asking the same thing. They guy working there said the nearest Cabelas was sold out , Dicks pulled theirs and that people were coming from 2 hours away to try and get there hands on one. Yeah I feel blessed. But at the going price I may sell my other AR.

 

I just said screw it and ordered a few mags from vtsupply.com . There is a good chance I will regret paying 40 bucks a mag, but damn id kick myself in the ass if I couldnt get them later. I've wasted 20 bucks on worse crap anyways.... heh.
