New 2013 Tacoma-Metallic Grey.. Should I go with Black Addons or Chrome?

okay so I just purchased a new 2013 Tacoma in the metallic gray. I'm trying to get advice on if I should go with the black grill guard and such or put a lil chrome in the mix.. Just looking for what people think look the best and what there preference is with this color.. I think it can go either way but just looking for opinions.. Thanks

i just got an MGM as well and i plan to go black. but as said above its up to you. most people on here have black so search some pics and go from there

 

No I like the black look but was just curious because the color of the truck.. And as a plus they are cheaper than doing chrome or ss. But thanks for the reply as I am new to the Tacoma scene as I just sold my 08 Silverado after having bad troubles with it.. I like how there is so many forums for this truck and a lot of online help with mods and such..

 

Black is my vote, much better then chrome on MGM.

 

Also where can you buy the TRD skid plates. Looking for front and gas tank if they make on.. Does the diff on these trucks need one also?

 

If there's anyone out there with a 2013 Tacoma metallic grey with a grill and the trim they want to get rid of. I'd take it off your hands. I don't like the chromed one I have.

 

I would say black in general too but chrome just looks so sexy on that particular color. Any other color I would say black.

 

I have a 2013 in MGM too. I think the black would look better. Another word of advice. Check the vendor section here before you buy anything. You will find better and cheaper than TRD stuff. Look at a few builds to get an idea of what you like and what you will be doing with your truck. I have a few TRD parts on my truck and I am already regretting not researching before I shelled out all that $$$.

 

Black. I got rid of all the chrome on my MGM, black goes well with the color for sure, i went gloss black with wheels and badges, colormatch with grill and rear bumper.

I did the black on gray theme when I had my MGM and it looked great. Not a fan of adding chrome and try to get rid of it when I can.

Wow. You are right. I guess I'm a 1%'er. I still stand by my statement. I stand alone though. It's all preference. This isn't math. There's more than one answer.

My first mod on my MGM was plati dipped badges, black all the way!

 

Black. Im in the same boat, black add ons go great with this color for sure. SS, or chrome just don't work. Chrome stuff does real well on the silver taco's though

I want a color match for my MGM 2013 Tacoma. I know for sure that's what I want. I'm just trying to find out where I can get those parts. The Toyota dealership told me it would be 2 grand and I was like "Fuck that" so I'm trying to find them around somewhere for cheaper.
