yes and i still dropped down into the the trail knowing i was gonna have to climb back out only 3 wheel drive which is worse than being open front.

 

Thanks man for clarifying. I am guessing that if you had disengaged the ARB there would have been to front drive at all. Am I understanding what happened correctly?

 

still correct. loosing that was like breaking an axle shaft with the locker in i still had one front wheel turning but that leaves you with on dead tire to push snow and mud and also making steering harder.

 

Got it. Not quite as bad as snapping an axle, can still get out without doing trail repairs.

Interested in seeing how expensive the piece is. It looks pretty beefy actually? 27 spline like the pinion or is it larger?

I noticed this weekend that my rear springs are frowning pretty bad... guess ill have to get the ome lift and dakar springs sooner than i anticipated....ohhhh schucks! sucks for me!

 

honestly id rather an axle break. i have 5 spares. i changed the on on that side cuz brant said that tire wasnt turning and and i snapped a shaft they arent hard to change at all that stub shaft on the other hand can be a trail repair but would take bare min 2 hours to do..

Nice. Are the whoops at the bottom really that big or are your springs and shocks just that soft? Lol. Cause the front looked like it soaked them up a lot better!

 

My suspension blows... it is way to stiff... They weren't real big but the sand was pretty hard so I bounced a lot. It was all pretty rough riding out there. The noise you hear is all the shit bouncing around in my toolbox... haha

I wish we had some videos of some of our cookies. I put my taco in 2lo with the rear locker locked and in 3rd gear I could damn near spin right around the drivers side front tire. haha. Was pretty cool.

Hardly ever do haha just a few main places. Would think they would be good at it in Jackson. But they only do big highways.

We had guys in the group who had to rush so we are gonna head back and get better footage and take our time. We didnt film any of the hard sections or the good water crossings but we did get to test the bar mount for the GoPro. Fits perfect on the bumper and bedrack.

And oh yea? I do think they have a bad side too. I remember when I was with Jon in lander and we got snowed out. He almost got stuck cause of the hill we we on and he would slide down.

But I'll stick to my fat tires no matter what.

 

I am not sure about that. My big fat BFG A/T's did very very well. Lol. But I have a big fat truck! Lol

 

the zuk had issues cuz his tires had no side bite. and I had a few issues cuz of broken parts, truck worlda worked just as hard on skinny tires i know ive run them before. just wait till ben gets to play in some really deep wet snow and his tires doen't float for shit.
