I want to put after market shocks on my 2009 2 wheel drive regular cab and Ii am looking at the Bilsteins but not sure which ones to purchase.

It is currently stock with no lift or leveling kits. i did put 235/75/15's on it last week though. (love them but it is a slightly rougher ride). I don't want to lift it because it's not 4 wheel drive but I do want to make her as sweet of a ride as I can without lifting.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

this may be a dumb question (newbie) but will new shocks create any lift, even if very minor?

A lot of people here love Bilstein's shocks, so it's probably good choice. For a 4X2, you can get the Bilstein's Heavy-Duty shocks which fit the 5-Lug Tacomas. You can probably find some on AutoAnything or Amazon.

New shocks that were built for OEM, won't lift any but the other shocks, like Skyjackers or others are built for lifted Tacomas, which you don't want to get if you don't want to lift it.

they don't lift. unless you buy a gigantic one. they come in all different sizes, but the ones's that are guaranteed to fit our trucks do not add any lift, in fact the qa1's I have are considerably shorter than stock.

I've been looking for months to get adjustable shocks and struts (thought it was impossible) even wanted to sell it because of it. .
I went to their Webpage and saw only for camaros, corvettes drag racing.
    where can I buy them?
    And how much are they?
Oh and my truck has a readift, but don't think that's relevant since I'm using same stock shocks after the lift.

Thanks I would really appreciate any info!!!

When looking to level the truck only, I'd been advised to get Bilstein 5100 adjustable height front shocks. They don't seem to be made for the 5 lug Tacomas anyway. They have an adjustable height and use the stock spring.
