I used a dremel , sharp wood chisel and a file

The pic with the shelf hacked off was my first cut with the dremel , I used a rotozip style straight cutting bit and got rid of the bulk of the shelf material , I then removed the rest of the material a bit more carefully

The other side fits my jump pack perfectly so I'm not doing anything to that side

Been on the road for work since the 3rd of December...Came home to some stuff waiting on me at my UPS store where I keep a mailbox....

They were glad to see me come pick it all up....

All I have done so far is install the roof rack, weather tech mats, and the antenna. The rest will be going on on Wednesday.

Put 900 more miles on her today. Only 175 more to go and my Coast to Coast drive will be complete. All I have to do tomorrow morning is drive West til the map turns blue and I will be home. I have been gone for 6 months, it's gonna be great to get back home.

Simply because I could. The color of the roof matters none. If it's hot out, the cab will be hot regardless of the color of the paint

thought of wrapping my hood and roof with matte black or 3m dry weave just to have a different look and cut down on sun damage and glare off the hood scoop. On MGM the hood scoop blinds you on sunny days. Derp does same thing.

Welcome back! I did the East-to-West drive years ago and wish I could do it again (with more time and money this time around though)

Went to an Offroad park today with the idea of wheeling my truck but instead when wheeling in the atv & Polaris razor. I had a blast. Just wasn't feeling taking the taco out there on the rocky trails after all. The razor impressed the hell outta me though! It was fun!
    Sorry no pics.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Hmm. I've used them in my dodge a while back and didn't notice a short life.
I like the little bit brighter bulb and I don't need to go crazy with projectors or anything like that.
What lamp is better than the stock as far a clean bright light and still has good life ?

Keep your receipt when you install these. There's a 1 year replacement guarantee that they don't tell you about. If your retailer won't deliver on it, email Sylvania and they'll help you out.

    Cheers,
    Marc

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
From what I understand, and even Sylvania outlines it on their website I believe, the brighter the light, the shorter the life.
