I don't know how long it will take to ship... I am expecting it to be picked up by Friday, but still working out the payment with the seller pending inspection and stuff... So, I would figure it would take about a week to ship, but no idea... Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!

 

Hahaha well I'm not a huge fan of the wheels bein 20's either but it's his truck so it's his to do what he wants with it. Definitely wouldn't go spending more money on it right after you buy it. Save it for a couple of weeks or so, make sure nothing is wrong and it drives good. After that and you have some spending money, go crazy! Haha but the BHLM will be free since youve probably still got paint left over from your last one. You could do that for bonding time the first day you get it! Hahaha

 

20's on 33's, NO! (No offense, Levi)... But 20's on 35's... I think it will work...

I mean when the tires wear down I can always buy a set of 18's, but i'll definitely want to keep the 35's...

 

I agree with everyone else, those wheels and tires suck! You should buy mine so I can get my 35s! Lol...

the metal bracket with 2 rubber pads glued between them. Mounted over the crossmember to support rear of trans.

Definitely. 20's and 33's... good choice switching levi! Haha but yeah, 20's and 35's isn't that bad. Definitely run those tires out and switch to whatever then. I wanna run 35's on this jeep but I'm gonna have to swap the rear axle first. Which I'm not doing till I snap the stock axle.

Also, does anyone know what this could be: the jeep usually sat in the garage a lot, sometimes over a month of just sitting. Now that I'm driving it more, the transmission is almost slipping. I'll go from take off and I think it's from 2nd-3rd gear that it revs up, shifts pretty hard (kinda throws me back in my seat but there aren't any loud noises or pops.) and then finally gets in gear and is fine. It doesn't happen every time but usually on quicker take offs. Transmission oil need changed? Any other ideas?

 

sounds like low tranny fluid.

 

Thanks man, I'll be changing the tranny fluid and filter here in the next week or so. Oil change and filter will be done tomorrow.

 

Ok so I know what a trans mount is and now that I re read what u wrote I see where my sarcasm could not be applied! I thought u were trying to say that u needed a trans mount along with a jack and stands BECAUSE of ur new leaf pack. But then u made a reference to it being loose last time u checked. Sooooooo my sarcasm made no sense really

ok who all is/would be down for a small snowboarding meet up at ober? they opened today(well yesterday) maybe able to do it before i go to NY or we can maybe do it the weekend of the jan 26th?

and yeah i will be going be for the meet. i will either be in my truck or friends army green FJ trail team with 3” lift. friend has a buddy coming in from KA the 28th(went out their for school) i think we all going up to cat one day and maybe ober.

i would say lets try and do it before i leave the jan 19th, but i have got quite a bit of stuff to do before i go. and we would really only have about 2 1/2 weeks to do it. i think mountain man94 want to go, think dark night would like to go, hunter423 wants to go, maybe 1 or 2 from NC. i forget who all els want to go. i’m trying to talk another knoxville guy into going be he has never been before and hates the cold. i keep calling him a bitch and telling him to be a man. lol
