Hahaha. What are you accomplishing by running and telling the teacher? Is this how you deal with all your problems? Even if I get banned, what does it matter? It takes 30 seconds to set up a new account. What exactly are you looking for by posting over exposed photos with a "vintage" feel to them on a public forum? Praise? Your photos aren't very good, I'm sorry if that upsets you but its true. If my photos are average, then yours are garbage.

Your photography inspires me to take photos that are above average, like yours.

    Really?

We are here to offer constructive criticism, not to bash another member's work.

That's your opinion. Mine is that, at best, the photos you offered are average. Why?

    • #1, Kenworth - Lacks interesting composition. Left side of the image is underexposed.
    • #2, lake - Average tourist picture of a lake.
    • #3, night shot of a tent - Underexposed. Well, unless you like blue blobs.
    • #4, climber - All I see is a gully with someone in it. Nothing of interest.
    • #5, 2nd climber. Soft and over saturated.
But hey, I'm glad you posted them. Maybe you'll learn something from the critique.

    like fearnothing said

knock off you douchebag attitude and either have a little couth or GTFO

this aint the first time your attitude has drawn the attention of the staff, and you would benefit from reading the site code of conduct

In the event that your awesomeness cannot use the search feature to find that, i've provided you a link http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/site-news-announcements/17179-tacomaworld-code-conduct.html

In the future I will over expose everything by 3 stops and achieve that "vintage" look.

The site code of conduct does not apply to me. The site code of conduct is no more than a reference tool for nancy's like you to refer to when you have butt-hurt. Keep referencing it, I'll eventually be banned, and maybe your butt won't hurt quite as much (but probably not)

Then you should post to this thread. I don't think anyone here minds as long as you want to get better.

You know...I don't think I have ever seen a mod in this thread in the whole 2 years this thread has been in existence. But thanks to douche canoe we now have taken a serious, very nice and helpful thread and turned it into a shit fest.

I would like to get back to the real reason this thread exists:

First time editing photos in Aperture...not sure how I feel about it. Plus I did it on my girlfriends 11" Macbook Air and I'm used to my 21.5" iMac....amazing how the size of the screen makes a difference. Still like Lightroom quite a bit better after editing these.
