Yeah, that's when Urban called timeout right before he (Wes Bryrum) kicked the frist one, he claimed all the fans were cussing him, calling him things that would make a sailor blush. Then he drilled the second to beat the undefeated, reigning National Champion Gators in the Swamp, as a freshman. I can't believe he got a little excited.

Johnny Football court side at a Mavs game.... Not cheap tickets, kid. Certainly possible that it's completely legit, but he should probably keep it on the down low.

 

I wonder if those court side tickets cost more or less than a dozen or so hand tailored suits?

I'm guessing all the suits he's been wearing on tv recently.

 

Rodney Garner is leaving UGA headed to Auburn. I'm not sure what to think about this. He was one of the line coaches which we have not been that great at anyway but I've heard for years that he is huge in recruiting for us. I've even heard it said that he's one of the best recruiter in college football. Hope this doesn't hurt us too bad.

 

This. Not sure how big of a blow it'll be to us (it's UGA, and the SEC...shouldn't be TOO hard to recruit, right?), but I think it'll be a huge step for auburn, especially after this train wreck.

 

I'm off work for 13 days.

I have 8 packs of Ninkasi and alot of football to watch.

Is tough coaching millionare players. His strong point is helping kids become millionare players. I doubt he goes anywhere. I hope he stays at Bama !

 

It's a waste of time thinking about what Saban might or might not do after the game. If he goes... more power to him. He brought two (hopefully three) championships to Alabama.

He's a grown-ass man and can do what he wants.

If Clown-Shoes Miles can keep La State in the national title hunt year after year since taking over that program from Saban, I have faith that whoever we'd bring in to replace St. Nick would be able to do the same.

 

Moving Pro for Saban would be a bad choice....and I'm pretty sure he knows that.

 

I think it all comes down to his experience w/ the Dolphins and what he took from it. Obviously it didn't go great and he came back to college, but did he feel like it could have gone well, or did he see it as something that wasn't as good as he thought it would be?

Again, time will tell, and speculating does no good.

 

He left basically because they had things lined up to get Drew Brees, but the team dr wouldn't clear the move. From what I read, he said if THAT guy has THAT kind of power around here, I'm out.

Again, that's what I read. That was the tipping point in him leaving.
