This thread makes me want to get my runner done sooner than later. Ill prolly drop it off at a shop and just let them do it. Was thinking about calling Scott at addicted offroad to see how much and how long it would take.

I'm putting a Detroit in the rear of mine. A buddy of mine at the FD runs Aussie lockers and has no problems though.

I've heard great things about the lockrite, of course ARB but too pricy for me & just more shit to add with tanks/lines/compressor, unless you alreaady have that shit for airing down

Just curious what's your though on a Detroit. I have no personal experience. I know a few people who have them. I'm still open to use something different. The arb is too pricy for me.

Good info. I may go that route they are a bit cheaper price wise I believe. Like I said my buddy runs lock rites in his jeep and no issues.

Good to know. The problem here in co with toyotas is most people around me have the e locker so I have nothing to gauge off of with my runner.

It's not real subjective, your either locked or your not, but the bigger issue is longevity, quality & user friendly I figure

Spartan>lock rite. The Spartans are just a side stronger, larger pins. If I had the money is build a front a rear set of 9.5 toy elockers with 80 outers and hellfire knuckles. They will shit on one tons :D

 I thought the 9.5 toys were known for weak axle shafts though.... The shafts are kinda thin compared to giant ring gear. :notsure:
