    So while I was loading my girlfriends bike in the back of my truck, I noticed one side of my roof is all scratched to shit, to the point were metal is starting to rust. Anyone know of someone who can help do some body work? Thinking I can do it myself, although it wont look all that great. Im sure Ill have to tape off an area, sand down and then primer paint and clear coat.....

    Fucking lame. Well what the hell.....I mean I dont think it would be that hard to tape off the area sand it down primer paint and clear coat it. Just will take some time I guess

    Well fuck me. Ill just sand it down and do all the painting shit, and if the rest of the truck is going to end up doing it Ill look into painting the whole truck. Ive been wanting to go flat black anyways

    Is the paint starting to "checker" Dave ?? You may want to check into a possible recall for that (if there was one it may still apply) A few years back, Ford had an issue with a dark blue color & turned out the mix was bad & for years after they were actually making it right by consumers & re shooting the vehicles in question with the bad color mix, worth checking anyway....:notsure:

    Honda and Acura had that same issue with their black paint job recently on their hoods and roof, even with proper care the black paint would spider web and stuff so they ended up issuing out a tsb to fix it for free

    ANybody heading out to the Desert? I am leaving probably tomorrow and staying till Tues. Going to start getting everything ready today, plus a little welding repair on the Jeep, make sure all the bikes are prepped and ready, and then were off like a Prom dress.

    Going to be at the spot where I held the meet last year, so if anybody wants to come out and play and wants a base camp, your more than welcome. I am probably going to be there solo, my old desert group has all but disappeared, so now its just me and the wife anymore.

    I usually go out and do 70+mile rides on the motorcycle (Superstition, or Salton sea and back for fun) and at night I will be mobbing through the hills by myself since my wife isnt really into it. So if anybody wants to come out for some fun, lemme know guys.
