Took a break from obsessing over all these nice new springs being built here:

So, just to be sure I understand this - the only thing keeping the spring clamps from sliding up and down the length of the springs is how snug the flats are squeezing the stack?

...and now, back to the refurb thread...

 

HA! glad you're enjoying the thread & yep you understand right, you want them snug but not overly so, it'd probably be best to get some nylocks for the all thread, it'll hold tension better I think...

Thinking about using fine thread nuts n bolts and some green locktite.

Just a thought but isnt this inhibiting flex ,i offroad so im concerned about flex a factory one or ones ive seen are riveted to bottom or top spring and are not attached on top or are just a loop not holding stack together ( clamping spring )
