guys. thinking about getting a cheap lock, just to keep the snatch and grabbers from taking my board when i am inside getting a drink or bathroom or some food.

    looking at these 3.

#1(like the size of this one a lot, nice small so i can keep it in my pocket and don’t have to get a key out to use it.
    http://www.the-house.com/da7mlre11zz-dakine-snowboard-lock.html
#2 longer/ thicker cable, but may not fit in pocket as well and have to get a key out.http://www.the-house.com/da7cmlkbl12zz-dakine-snowboard-accessories.html
    #3, small like #1 but has a key, http://www.the-house.com/da7klkbl12zz-dakine-snowboard-accessories.html

edit: only think i don’t like about #1 is that you can set your own code. also people say that you could cut the cable, but i don’t think anyone is going to have something on them to cut it when they are snowboard. and i won’t be locking it up in my truck bed or anything with it, just going to use it when i go into the lodge or what ever.

Ok cool. And yeah just trying to prevent a snatch and grab. Sad but I think when they see the lock on mine they will move on to someone else's board and not try and take mine.

Kinda the same thing with stuff in the trucks, they don't see anything they are most likely not going to brake into it.

Use a ski/board check. Most places have them for free or a small fee, just tip the guy. That is much more secure than a lock.

Never thought of that. I'll look and see if the place I'm going has a place.

Yea I always use a lock. I can pull it apart if I had too but atleast if someone is messing with it hopefully someone will see them and keep my board from being stolen.
