    Go see it. It'll fucking wow you. Even if you're iffy on the Trek series, if you like SciFi or even just action movies, you won't be disappointed.
    Hell, the first 5 minutes makes you want cry, and later in the movie you'll be crapping your pants from all the action.

    Really well done.

    I was never really into the Star Trek thing, but I really enjoyed the movie. Still... I think there were some jokes, etc. that I would have caught if I had been a fan of the series.

    Totally worth a trip to the Theater.

    Awesome movie!!! I agree with the OP, the first 5 minutes kinda pulls at the ol'heart strings a bit. Movie keeps you interested until the end. Very well done.

    none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
    I saw it last night. All in all, a good movie and really entertaining. Definitely worth seeing. Some of the characters are cheesy, but that's ok because the original Star Trek was like that too, so it kind of stays true to the old. Probably doubly interesting to watch drunk.
