Just stumbled upon this sight. I'm on my 2nd Tacoma. First was an 04 extended cab 4 cyl, just bought '07 access cab 4cyl, silver. Like the new one much better. If I had pics I post them. Thanks

Welcome to TW! I am glad that you liked your 4 cylinder enough to get a second one. I love my 2.7L.

So, is it a standard suspension, PreRunner, or 4WD? Do you have any plans for any modifications?

We can't wait to see pics! Again, WELCOME! :)

Its a 4x4 with stock, Plain Jane, wheels and SR5 package #2 ( I believe). I want to put a different set of wheels/tires on it for summer. I also want to put fog lights on it, and maybe a topper (depending on price). The post where the guy changed the color of the dash lights looked pretty cool, but I think that's a little beyond me (too afraid of messing the whole thing up). Although I did pull the radio to hook up Sirius direct connect, and was able to do so because of the thread on this site.

I am really glad that this site has already helped you out. I think that you could easily change the gauge lights in your 04'. They are MUCH simpler than the 2nd Generation lights which are LED soldered on a board in the gauge cluster. I will not be changing mine, as I have a 2nd Gen. :(

Good luck with the upgrades and be sure to post pics for us dreamers! :p
