Nevermind. She said it was 6hrs and i guess I got the 4hrs from the $420 install. I have no idea what the other guy said install time would be, all I know is he said it'd be $600 somethin for install alone.
And I've lived here for 17 years and I'm still learning this place haha. Just now finding a few trails.

Shit! I wish! This guy is hilarious and just a good ole country boy. He's got a damn nice jeep too. He said he'd buy my 1" body lift after i take it off so he can fit 36" iroks on it
Nice! What's the case thing for exactly?

lol. i like people like that.

and anything that will fit in it. it locks and everything. so maybe a GPS or a wallet when at the beach. the cable is so you can wrap it around something like a seat bracket or something.

    txt incoming.

Well just got back from toms. Went a completely different route haha. I went with a rough country 2.5 inch lift and I'm keeping the 1" body lift so I'll have 3.5"s of lift and 33's. I was going to have them take off the body lift but they said it would be about 6hrs for them to take it off  with 5"s of lift and 33's it'd just look odd. So I got the 2.5" suspension lift. I went with cooper STT's instead of the KM2's cause they were 1. On back order and the girl couldn't give me an exact time for the tires I need and 2. They were $30 a tire cheaper.

At the end of the day I'm getting a 3.5" lift with 33" cooper STT's, and a OR-Fab stinger bumper for the same price as a 4" lift and 33" km2's alone. :D

Damn kids and their impatience! :banghead: You should never let an instant satisfaction win over an educated decision! U settled for a less quality of a lift, including a body lift, and less quality tires for what!? .... A day ride through the woods to impress ur cousin!? Makes no sense. The only good thing about that decision is u will never know the difference between the two, therefore u won't be "missing" anything!

Don't get mad neither! Just makes no damn sense to me .....

It's a good lift, and I saved $420 by not having them remove the body lift. Also saved $120 for going with the cooper STT's. They were my second choice anyways and the BFG's were on national back order in that size, so they had no idea when they could get them. Not even going to get to see my cousin this year. Thanks though. Just figured id save $500, still get a quality lift, and save up till I can find a new rear axle. That way I can do 35's, gears, lockers, and a long arm kit later on down the road.

Also, I won't have to worry about getting an SYE or CV axel because of vibes or death wobble.

You could do most of that yourself. Oil, oil filter, plugs, tranny....not sure how hard the serpentine belt Or the other 2 would be to do at home.

But you've already sold your truck so I'm guessing you'll have to do somethin?

Ship that bitch!!! The only thing I would worry about is the rough idle but I'm 99% positive that its only because of the o2 sensor being misplaced and the cats missing. It should throw ur back pressure and timing off a lil bit. The timing chain cover gasket is what I was afraid of leaking. It's a hard job at home and a $1400 job at Toyota. Steering sloppy should just be alignment but may be a steering rack problem. And everything else is easy stuff. I don't see anything that should deter u from buying this thing though!
