    Hello All,

I have done some searching around trying to figure out what the toyota emblem is? Looks like some african water buffalo or something.

    Anyone?

    TIA

    its a symbolized "T"

"In 1990, Toyota debuted the three overlapping Ellipses logo on American vehicles. The Toyota Ellipses symbolize the unification of the hearts of our customers and the heart of Toyota products. The background space represents Toyota’s technological advancement and the boundless opportunities ahead."

on second thought, you could probably superimpose the letters T-O-Y-O-T-A on the emblem.

    Cool enough.

We also have a subaru and theirs is some space constellation or something like that. So I thought the yota' one may have something hidden in their's also.

    Thanks again.

As far as i know, Toyota had been using this logo in the Philippines since the late 70's. It started when they introduce the "Tamaraw" version of a passenger vehicle.

You're right Mr. Flatlander. It's a symbol for a water buffalo, which in the Philippines "Carabao" it's the strongest animal in the island.

Oooh, I like that. Sounds cool. Looking at the wikipedia for "Carabao" it says "hauling stuff to market", I'd better get that four leaf pack tsb done!

    Thanks
