Nice. And what's cool is the footprints take you to the person. How cool is that? Nice "mood" to the shot as well.

What a troll. Trolled the overlanding thread too..

Anyways, I'm looking at getting started in basic photography..any suggestions? I'm taki g a class at my college which has a nationally know program. But any info helps. I'm not sure what camera I should pick up first. Not looking for the cats pajamas, but not a point and shoot really..although some with interchangeable lens look okay ish..

Anything would be better then my iPad which is my current camera :anonymous:

LoL.... I've haven't been in this thread much lately, but that guy is hellarious. I've never seen someone with such a god complex. He could probably be good, but the subject in his photos are extremely dull and boring

Maybe he should go read photography composition 101...

    Thankfully he is gone.

Here are some shots from a backpack I went on.
Got an affordable Olympus SZ-12 that is small enough to travel with and has the features I know how to use. Any suggestions on framing the shot better or ways to improve the shots would be welcomed, we go to some amazing places and I waste a lot of time trying to get the right angle/lighting.

The real reason I went with canon was the loyalty program, bought a used broken point and shoot canon on eBay for 5 bucks and got a massive discount on a refurb t1i. Don't be afraid of the refurb, mine has held up VERY well for how I treat it haha.

It was all online. Google canon loyalty program, I think POTN has a long going thread on the subject.
