Far from straight forward. At least on my truck (and some I have heard of), some of the tabs were spot welded on, easy to remove, some really welded on and a giant pain in the ass.

Tips? Remove your front drive CV shafts, they are in the way to get to the inner tabs easily.

i know out here an unemployment claim can take upwards of a month to complete...can't imagine the backlog there is out there! DO NOT take a loan from your 401k. my dad did that (to pay the health insurance premium after being laid off for over a year) and got screwed on taxes that year

Fema prob screwed you because you rent.

No idea about unemployment in NY. I only tried to get it once and my work said no so I didn't fight it. I wouldn't worry about losing your pride for the unemployment thing though. You pay into it so it's your money. Not like you're one of the crackheads spitting out kids to get more gov assistance.

If you need the hardship do it, but if there is someway you can get by without it do so. The taxes will be horrible and youll loose something like 40% of your money. I looked into it when I lost my job a year ago. It ended up being better for me to ring up credit card debt and borrow some cash from family. I'm still paying off that shit over a year later.

You ever think of becoming a man whore? I know you NYers like the dick. :D
