after going through a car wash about 3 times since i got my antennaX put on.. it broke off!!!
I was pissed.. and spent a hell of a time trying to get the bolt out of there.. stock one is back on (barely) and i may just cut it down...

i may need a entire new antenna later, after drilling and tapping the broke off bolt.. eerrrgh

yes, we recommend removing any antenna but I have to say we get a lot of business due to carwashes

I just don't dare go through a carwash with it.. I don't care about replacing it (rather not) but I don't want it to scratch the entire car.

I hear the stubbys are terrible.. so idk

No, but really, going with an all in one antenna.

I have been looking at the roof mounted AM/FM, GPS, WIFI/BLUETOOTH, GSM/UMTS, TV, XM/Sirius - all in ones.

Similar in look to the current model pucks on the trucks - just with better functionality. Would integrate well with a nice AV setup. My auto alarm is GSM too. GPS, XM, AM/FM, all for the radio. TV antenna for an expansion module and rear seat monitors.

Hopefully the antenna will be what I expect and blend in.

Yeah the reception sucks!! It looks great but that is about it. If you play a lot of CD's or XM radio go for it. If you are still interested where I got it from let me know.

I have a 13" AntennaX and I'm not totally sure I dig the look. I also notice it bending like crazy at highway speed. A couple of my stations here in Orlando no longer come in as well either. I got it as a gift so I may keep it or go back to stock and give it to someone.
