    I just ordered a Cobra75 as well dude, I'm planning on using Relentless Fab's mount for under the hood. I've never installed one and know nothing about how to tune them properly. Have you ever installed one? Did you get an SWR or are you having someone tune your stuff for you?

    Nope, never installed one..and have no idea how to tune them haha. I do know there are many people who have the SWR out here, and might not mind helping me tune mine. Basically going to set it all up and head to the next meet and get it all tuned up. There are a few dudes in this area who keep an SWR in their vechicles.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    Tuning is quite easy. But you ca only tune if you have a tune able antenna.

    There are tons of instructions on how to do it. Sometimes you don't have too. I hooked mine up and it was literally perfect after checking on a meter lol

    I definitely am in no rush, I just took advantage of the fact that within a 2 week span I graduated from college, Christmas, birthday and after spending the last 7 years as an enlisted Marine I commissioned. My wife was very generous during this time so I put a lot of $$ into my truck!

    im buying one of the two sets of lights with some Xmas cash i got and after i figure out where i sit with taxes ill start ordering air compressors cb more lights and what not.

    Congrats on commissioning. I'll be doing the same with the Navy next summer with 7 years under the silver belt buckle. I got a hi-lift for Xmas! Just need a wrap for it and a mounting bracket

    i was gonna do the same but just ended up bolting it down to the bed sides right behind the toolbox. clean and simple wing nuts hold it down.

    A friend of mine is making me a mounting bracket that will be two strips of metal attached to the front rail of the bed and the bed bottom with several mounting holes. That way I can put my hi-lift, shovel, and axe on the same mount.

    That shit cracks me up! What kind do you have? I have been considering getting a chainsaw but I don't want to get a shitty one. All the ones at Home Depot are brands I've never heard of, which usually is not a good idea...

    Still is the only way to go. and dont buy their home and lawn versions they suck ass. get a big one or dont get one at all. My still (24") is 20 years old and will still make it look like its snowing with a good sharp chain. they are very expensive but trust me ive used em all still is where its at. Homlight isnt to bad

    Is spelled Stihl (just so the guy has an easier time looking for them). I have a stihl axe and I love that shit. I have a McCullough (Mini Mac-tiny chainsaw) and I like it a lot. Doesn't get used for really big stuff, but does great for camping, etc. got it a garage sale a couple years ago and have never had to do anything to it but will probably have some maintenance to do this summer.
