This is what my money's on, word is something will happen on the 3rd, but they also said someone was gonna move on something last (the 23rd) monday

 

always loved the AR, never liked direct impingement. And this will be in additional to my future AK and SKS Im collecting!

another question, anybody done a 80% lower?
dad found out from a guy at work that theres a local shop that sell them and (supposedly) lets you use the machining equipment to finish them.

Firearm parts are built to specific spec, I wouldn't wanna have a "build-a-bear" AR

 

after reading more on there sight i found out they have build groups and they have a worker make sure everything's in spec.

If I was to do something like that I would do the AK. I think all you have to do for the AK is finish drilling holes in the receiver.

I'm kicking my self in the ass right now. I lagged on getting a saiga 7.62 and now I can't get one at all... I really want my buddy's dad norinco. That thin is super clean.

its probably so your gun doesnt have to have a serial number because you "built" it probably have a jig and you drill like one hole to make the receiver useable

If they are going to let you use the jigs and equipment to finish it, GO FOR IT! Building an 80% is fun!

 

I shot full auto Norinco's growing up! My mother used to be a PLA officer and we got to shoot them for free.

 

Which shop are you talking about? I am going to get one built at Ares Armor in Oceanside.
