I am a current Dodge ram 2500 owner looking to down size to a toyota Tacoma...

    Reason:

    Do not tow as much
    Gas mileage sucks
to big for daily driver. want something more fun for everyday.

I love what I have seen on internet and so far I like the looks of 3inch lift or less...This truck just rocks...

My question is...Is there a list of dealers who offer new trucks with lift kits. I know some dealers tend to offer more than others..I really do not need the lift just like the looks...

I am interested in a white 4x4 sr5 with off-road pkg...Should I just buy bigger tires and wheels from dealer to make a beefer wheels set up and for go the lift..

    Sorry for such newbie question....Thanks

I don't know what are you are in, but around here the local dealer will sell and install a lift after you buy your truck.

Your best bet, call around. Don't be afraid to hang up on them if they start selling you something you don't want (to be curtious - I tell them what I will do if they try).

I know that many of the Texas dealers have some that are lifted prior to sale. i have seen them. You usually find them during the summer. Where are you located?

Be weary of buying aftermarket mods directly from the dealer, they most likely will over charge for a customization like that. I think your best bet would be get the truck you want and go with an after market shop for the lift.

Only other thing to consider is the possible warranty problems you may run into if you are looking for a suspension lift and have a problem down the road. You may want to consider a body lift instead of a suspension lift....

he said down size not down grade. A dealer will charge more than aftermarket but you will get the warrenty with the install usually.

I know in Utah all the other truck dealers sell lifted fords chev's dodges and ever nissan's but from what I understand if you buy them like that from the dealer they will warranty it.. However the toyta dealer wont lift and because of the warranty issue.. would they sell more if there were 2 or 3 taco's sitting on the lot with a 6 inch fabtech on it? I think yes but they dont want to deal with the issues that come with warranty issues..
