Yea it's all contained in the unit. I figured that little square pocket thing that was there is pointless anyway but it just has male connectors on the bottom and wires up like a switch, power and ground. Grounded it to the bottom of the console that bolts into the body

Yeah I tapped it with a 2lb mini sledge and it did the trick. I've never seen a tacoma with painted valve covers either. I may try and paint them black. I'm at my uncles so hopefully he has something. Black valve cover with a black upper and lower plenum would look sweet.

I recently did this last year, after a few months i ran into BIG problems. As of last weekend all the switchback wiring i installed (Wires, connectors, resistors, bulbs) are taken out and stock wires reconnected to factory.......

    SO MUCH HAPPIER!

I'm trying to take off my front bumper. I got the 4 main bolts out, but how the hell do I get the 2 bolts by the fenders off? Am I supposed to be removing the one that goes into the rubber thing? Or the ones that have the nut facing towards the back of the truck?

Yeah under the bracket that bolt is connected to is a rubber cushion. It's so dried up and squishy I can't get any torque on the bolt because the rubber part is allowing the bracket to twist around. I'm soaking it in PB blaster as well but I have a feeling I'll have to cut off off the bolt. I'm using a cheater bar too, but the whole damn bracket just twists so I can't get any sort of torque on it.

Haha I was glad I had one. It was the smallest size I had in my 70 something piece kit. Post output pics of those headlights. Idk if I wanna do hid's or just get some bulbs like that.
