Actually, I went to bed around 1. I wasn't up very late. Just didn't sleep well. I haven't slept well the past 2 weeks .

 

Part of it I think. I have another month on this shift. The other half of it is I was on leave/vacation for so long that I have to re introduce myself to this whole work thing. Granted, all I have REALLY done is write performance reports and award packages for the past week. I have one left to fix, but I am waiting on the guy to get me his information... He is really pushing it and me to the end. Our performance reports directly affect your promotions. Let's just say his isn't a 5 of 5. He will lose quite a few points by me just dropping him to a 4 of 5.

 

but if he doesn't deserve the 5 out of 5 he shouldn't get it.

He really doesn't deserve it at all. Can't trust him to make it to work half the time since he is "sick." Ah well, don't want him to make rank anyway. I don't trust him. He has never deployed from our shop since he has always been on profile for some bullshit.

 

Just hope you have the feedbacks to "prove" it should he challlenge it.

Lots of PM's . Two are out of town and won't know until they get back, one hasn't responded and one hasn't received (as of this morning)

 

I have paperwork showing how many times he hasn't showed up to work. I also know he hasn't done any off-duty education which is almost mandatory now to earn a fire wall. Plus, he is about to leave the Sq. to become the honor guard NCOIC. He was the next one up for deployment too which irritates me the most.

All those blocks need to be all the way to the right except fitness. Needs to be exempt or meets. If it isn't all the way to the right, it isn't called firewall. On the back of the form, it has the overall rating. 5 is the best obviously.

 

Have you taken any disciplinary action? LOC, LOR?

We had a guy who got BTZ and was groomed for it, he was a good troop. He was told 9 mo in advance he was deploying... well, about 2 weeks before he was supposed to leave, he got out of it... "my wife doesn't want me to go" "she can't handle it" give me a freaking break!!! Then he got an assignment to depot

All "5's" no mark down's on anything.

 

He has an LOC. I can write the guy a 4 without having to have any documentation though. A 3 is average, which he is. A 4 is above average as it reads. Yes, I am the kind of person who usually gives a 5 if they haven't done anything wrong.. but when your shop can't rely on you to get the job done, I can't warrant a 5. He has been one of those people who has been groomed to the office positions his whole career.

My house doesn't feel like my home anymore. Feels more like I'm just staying here and that Gina and her kids are an inconvenience. I don't feel welcome here anymore.
