anybody ever use one of the 80% lowers? i am looking at buying a few of those with the jig. i do have access to a mill so finishing them will not be to much trouble

I was thinking of putting mine together but I have no experience in that area and don't want it blowing up on me. Lol I wish I had a busy that could help me put one together...

 

im going to get my 80 completed on jan 12...

 

So I walked into Ares Armor and there were two people in front of me asking about 80% lowers. AR15's are back ordered until June. AR10's have a 500 person waiting list! Behind me there was another 5 people asking the same thing. My search continues.

 

It's really easy. Just get on YouTube and look at all the videos. The lower was super easy and from the looks of it the upper and gas system looks pretty simple also

 

The shop I got my lowers from has the. Just gotta call and go pick one up.

I'd just relax everyone. If you have survived this long without ever owning or shooting an AR it won't kill you. Paying these crazy prices for a ban that doesn't even exist yet makes no sense. Only reason these prices are being asked is because some damn fool actually pays it(I guess the Recession is over huh?). Hell 90% of people are just going to take pictures of thier rifle and shoot maybe a 100 rounds out of it total anyway. Might as well buy Gold instead.

You can't contradict the medical examiner, that doesn't happen. Starting at 5:20, the 7 bodies he identified and examined had long gun rounds used only.

Here is the video. All rounds collected were long gun rounds 223.

Here is the DEAL, what this guy says, IS THE ONLY TRUTH you need to know period. All bodies have completed the medical examination.

He went back to his car after the shooting, used a hand gun to kill himself, that is where he left the AR.

Yes there is an agenda to BAN Assault Weapons. However, the medical examiner can't make shit up.

On top of all this, Assault Weapons ARE BANNED in Connecticut, his mother illegally owned the Bushmaster.

And people like to bring up Columbine, which took place DURING the LAST AWB.

A) So the ME laughing and acting like a moron doesn't make you think maybe his competence is lacking?

B) Also, the AR in question was most likely a AWB-Compliant model, with none of the "scary" features.
