A bit out of the line of sight, but has anyone installed a NAV unit in the lower console, in front of the cup holders in the cubby?

Could be easily hidden, but may require a remote antenna.

    Thoughts?

    Why not?

I'm fine with verbal instructions and a quick glance to see the screen if needed. I don't want to deal with aftermarket head units, nor something attached to my dash with a hanging wire. My front windshield is tinted, I'm not fond of sticking anything to it.

I'm thinking about a widescreen Garmin, possibly with an external antenna hardwired & hidden. The MSN direct feature is pretty cool as well.

if your willing to give up your cubby, then i thinkit would be cool. +1 on the antennae btw. i wonder if that would work with the 6 spd...
