Added the 5/8 ID tubing to reroute my AC condensate drain hose, finally put a hoseclamp on my tailgate, and also fixed the evil hood weatherstrip whistle noise with the 1/4 drip line.

I happened to see the thread about the whistling a week ago and was like never heard that before, then of course Wednesday driving back from SC, I was going 80 mph or so in a decent headwind and it sounded like a clown was living in my engine bay.

 

installed the ironman 4x4 suspension package. Rides and handles nice.

Did you take before and after measurements?

 

id be careful having them always on... youll melt your headlight housings...

 

nice1 i have my bear grill knife stuff between the driver seat and center console.

nice trailer! and nice ATV. personally i like side X sides more than the 2 up atv’s. atvs i tend to act like a fool and do wheelies and jump them and even flip them. or crash them into fences. i don’t use brakes much. and when i do i’m locking them up and than right back to full throttle.

 

you realize that now when they're on you have no front turn signals, right?

also seems like you'd get some feedback into the running lights system when you use the turn signal even when the running lights aren't on, unless you used diodes


a better option would be to swap the leads completely... or get really creative with some circuitry

 

LOL. I would love a RZR but those were easily a few grand more than what my wife had budgeted for my gift lol.

 

yeah. we have a rhino. needed the bed for yard work and stuff. when i get the money i plain to do a new CDI and clutch sheaves, i should be able to keep up with a 800 RZR than.(60 to 65) check out the atv/utv BS thread.

how does he not have turn signals??
i did the same thing a while back and had them (i ran the wire from the parking lights into the 3rd hole behind the bulb)

 

Alignment after the lift and long awaited wash will be in the AM

 

been running mine exactly how he is for over a year..no problems whatsoever

 

Depends on the year and the lamps.

The 4157 runs a slightly higher wattage than the 3157.
Also, both are dual filament.
If the low power filament is wired to act as DRL (and his look to be the "hot" filament), then there won't be a problem, it's only 5 watts.

But 3157 should be okay in any year housing.

Problem is, I went to Vatozone to find some 3157, and the Sylvania packages are tagged 4157/3157
