wtf.... that is ridiculous that people are paying that much for them. I'm going to keep my stash until after all of this. If it passes and nothing happens then I still have them. If it happens that they get banned they are going to get even more valuable and I will probably cash in then.

Pics or I have a hard time believing it. Sorry; just how it is. I'm sure you understand. :D

Wow- I'm actually within striking distance of you now.

Anyone going to the Rahr tour tomorrow? I might; depends on what time I get done with the gun show in Ft Worth.

Cool; I did mine Wednesday night. Today is day 2 of fermentation and it is driving the cats crazy listening to the bubbling of the air lock. I did a Live Oak Hefe clone from Austin Brew Store; what are y'all doing?

Which one - the gun show or Rahr? If the gun show is tempting I say no; if Rahr is tempting I say yes. Maybe Aaron will be able to come over.

I'm going because my Dad wants to see if there are any good deals. My cousin is also going to try to sell his Desert Eagle .44 Mag. We'll see.

I'll text Aaron and see what he is up to.

This one was a partial mash; but I'm working towards all grain also. This next week I need to get my kegerator built. As for brewing; I have one keggle built and a second keg for a wort boil pot. I found a great deal on 6.5 gal carboys on CL a couple of months ago and picked up three; so I have plenty of fermentation room. I still need to get together a brew stand and mash/lauter tun vessel. Then I'll be ready for all grain. Are y'all bottling or kegging?

The attached pic is right after yeast pitch. Now the krauesen has gone crazy but still hasn't filled the carboy yet.

That is pretty good arrangement for sharing the load and expenses. I'm setting up all my stuff off of CL out of my pocket. I'm too lazy for bottles though; so I went straight to corny kegs. Have you seen this part of TW; the homebrew section?

Blake - Aaron is not going to be able to make it tomorrow; he'll be using his winch at that guy's house.

Zech is right. I owe Casey a few favors for his help and going to test out the winch on a tree that needs to come down. Doubt the tree will come down from winching on it but it will be good to wind the line tight and test everything out.
Also I am not drinking for a few days while I fight off this cold.

This whole assault weapons ban has me all stressed out. If it in its whole passes our freedoms will be brought down to nothing. Handguns will be banned, because they accept a detachable magazine, any rifle that accepts a detachable magazine will be banned, anything that has the ability to hold more than 10 rounds will be banned. And if you own any pre ban weapons you have to register them with the ATF. Basically all that will be left unbanned is revolvers and certain bolt action rifles

Wait, so basically, we all might as well get our selves some horses, load up our six shooters and go after Poncho Villa in Mexico? We'll just be back tracking two hundred plus years.

With gun registration, comes confiscation as history has repeated again and again
