Yup, I was surprised at how my 1:7 AR-15s shoot the 55 gr FMJs. Not well. 2-3" groups at 100 yd with a scope. Lasers the 55 gr Vmax into sub-inch groups at the same distance though. Length is the issue more than weight, so if you really want to shoot a lighter bullet through 1:7 then try a poly-tipped bullet or an all-copper bullet, which will be longer than a lead bullet of the same weight.

My 1:7 guns LOVE the 62 gr OTM bullets that Midway had over the summer. Should have bought a few thousand.

I will tell you to keep an eye on Gunbroker, but also look on the classified on LWRCIs company forums.

how does the law work on selling "rebuild" mag kits to CA residents? Can I just break a mag down and then ship it out there?

Yup. That's about it. If you want just group the bodies in a zip lock, springs in another bag and follower in a third bag.

Just got back from the Tanner gun show in Denver (the biggest one we have). People were lined up by the thousands an hour before the doors opened. I've been to a dozen of these shows and I've never seen so many people. Pmags were going anywhere from $50-$60, .223 Rem was anywhere from $600-$850 per 1000.

And I'm sure people were paying it...sucks bc once prices get up like that they either take forever or don't come down...

    Thanks.

Do you know what people normally pay for "rebuild kits"? Or what they go for now?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Wow... went to the gun show today to mainly look for a handgun for the wife. Talk about price gouging on EVERYTHING. Pmags for 50+, ARs were average of 2600 a piece. Stock metal 30rd mags were 20-30 depending on who you looked at. I found some nice prices on a mossberg shotty I wanted, but someone already had dibs on it before I got to the table.

Rebuild kits go for the same as magazines. Maybe $1.00 more for the labor.

Man for the prices everyone is seeing I might as well try and build a few ARs and make a killing off them.
