It can't be Burlington. I thought south shore was getting the brunt of the snow. They keep saying close to a foot here. It's just raining hard lol.

You seem to be doing alot of house projects there lately Alex. Your parents must be happy that your fixing the house. When I ask my dad what needs to be done around the house, he just tells me son, I have people do the work for me lol.

How come you don't like it? Is it because you have to shovel it all and take at off your truck. I wish it would snow everyday. 5, 10, 20 , 30 inches. I love it all. Always been a winter kid. Would rather it below zero then super hot.

Lol. Have your dad lose a leg, all his fingers, and most of his income except for medical disability, then see what you have to do around the house.

I pretty much built this house. I framed and finished most of the upstairs with my step brother. Then I framed, wired, sheet rocked the basement and put down bamboo floors on top of subflooring on my own. Now it's the garage's turn. Just finished running wire in my dads room, now on to the future work shop of mine.

    Shitty panorama app.

Then on top of it all, I get shit for "not doing anything around the house"... I can't win.

Well my dad has always just hired people to do stuff around the house and yard. It's just the way he wants things. Would rather pay someone to do it all then have me do it. Your dad should be lucky to have you. All the stuff you do for him and helping around the house. Your a good kid. Most kids wouldn't even do that stuff and help out but I see you always doing something and that's great . :)

You seem to know alot and pick up stuff along the way which is good. Always nice having a trade you could do on the side to make a few $ if you wanted to. Having the basement to yourself to have a work shop is great. I wish our garage could be used as a working place for my truck and tools but it's so old and really to fall down. Sucks.

Thanks Miguel :). I try. The more I do, the less he bitches. I like it that way. These trades are relatively easy when you practice a little. I've always been inventive, so I familiarized myself with my Dad's massive collection of tools at a young age. Messing with my bikes, tearing apart his brand new lawn mower (still getting shit for that), engraving random words in the driveway with the pressure washer, etc lol.

Yea unfortunately this work shop will only allow me to work on the engine, trans, axles, etc. I can't fit my truck or the Willys in the bay. I couldn't even fit at stock height :(. But at least I can work piece by piece.

I'm running more conduit in here to have 12 20A outlets on a dedicated circuit so my compressor doesn't trip the breakers constantly. I'm gonna have room for an engine stand, a 7' work bench, shelves, my 4 tool chests, storage, and an axle on jack stands out of the way. Should be cool! Can't wait to start finishing this thing up.

Your welcome. All you can do is try. Try and hopefully they will see that your working hard to make things better :).

Hey, even if you can't fit your truck, still having a place here to do your small stuff is great. Take parts apart and so that stuff is awesome. I can't even work on shit at my garage so I'm jelly lol. If I had a place to work on my truck and stuff, I would be doing everything I can to make it look nice. Heated would be plus too:D

Seems like you have everything under control lol. Get the basement up and running and then you can have more space to get things going and work on stuff.

Awesome. Can work on your stuff and be warm:D.

Oh I didn't know that. That's good you chose to live with your dad and help him. Idk if I could choose where to live if my rents got divorced.
