    Mine are bolted but it is a huge plate...look up the all pro sliders for bolt on...weld on is stronger though...may still put a bead around it all though

    Like everyone else said. dont use the nerf bars. i used mine as sliders while off roading for a while and they kept rocks from hittin the bottom of the cab but i wouldnt want to come down landing on them, but i would never dare to have used them to lift the truck.

    here are mine in use and one of them getting built

    This or possibly a leak from your heater core? Is it orange by chance? (Radiator fluid)
