I wouldn't waste my time with the Tundra honestly. I think there are better options available. The Tundra is a nice truck but it's a gas hog and beastly big.

OK, so you have 4wd and you have to shovel so his little shoe box on wheels can make it up the drive way??

Oh and  at the Fit.

I did the drive over it a couple years ago..my wife and I both had 4wd. Problem was you couldn't walk on the damn driveway for 2 weeks, sheet of ice.

Then again you could store the Honda in the bed of your Tacoma:D

I have two more of the weather tech ones. Not sure if the ones for my first gen are the same size. If they are i'd send you one if you want.

Yeah, I hate walking on a nasty driveway for weeks after a snowstorm. I (and many others) have contemplated putting his car in my bed.

I had little choice that one time..was on crutches and in a leg brace. No way I want her picking up a shovel with a bad back either. That made getting in my truck on crutches an adventure and a half..pass the flamethrower please!

Who's the local guy with a black 1st Gen with all the stickers on his truck? Most noticeable the 3 round Celtics, Pats and Bruins stickers on the tailgate? I saw him running up Rt 1 this afternoon.

I'll have to have a look see..part of the issue I think is the Weathertech ones are very rigid plastic on the bottom so there's zero give to them. The instructions show you pictures to put one side in and kind of rock the other in, which worked on the first one but not the others..grr....

That's what I do now. Last time I shoveled the driveway, rained melted the rest. Felt like I wasted my time.

They may not be the same, they sound a little different. Mine just clip into the grommet. I'll try to get a picture of them tomorrow.

They have the double tabs you push inward and then they release once under the carpet. Good idea in theory, but the frickin plastic is so hard it snaps with any pressure.
