Mall Crawling is a lost art. First, You need to get your truck really clean. Then, head to a local Mall, strip mall, or shopping center. Prop one tire on a curb, and BOOM! You crawled a mall! Extra points if you park a tire on a weed.

Extra bonus points are also given if your truck is lifted really high with huge chrome rims and low profile mud tires. The "look" is everything. ;)

Not just clean, you need to add as much shit you can afford to be an awesome off road truck, then only take it back n forth to the mall. Using different parts of the parking lot also give extra points.

I think that just increases the catagory of the Crawl. For example, a stock truck can only get to a cat. 1 mall crawl. Where as mine, when propperly washed, can get to a level 3. 5 is the most, but mostly only Hummers (H2's), and other rediculasly lifted vehicles with 28" wheels can achive the level 5 crawl.

As stated above, for maximum mall crawlage your truck must be outfitted with an extensive array of off road parts. Like a massive lift, preferably a body lift, and big off road tires, and stickers and chrome. This type of rig must never see dirt, so that it can stay super clean for the mall parking lot. The Comes the real fun! Go to the mall and park like an ass hat! Putting one tire up on a curb is a time honored way of doig this. and since it is winter, tis the season, another great way to mall crawl is to drive your truck up into the huge piles of snow that get built up from plowing the parking lot. Bam! You just mall crawled.!

This one shows good effort, and with the 6" DB lift, you would think it would score high. However, note the dirt on the sides. This is an Automatic DQ from the Mall Crawl. TRUCK MUST BE CLEAN!

It is similar to what in the old days ways the Burger Run. You would get your supped up, shined up vehicle, head over to the local burger joint and drive slowly around showing off your ride. And ride around, and ride around, and ride around..... :turtleride:

Back in the muscle car days, with the monster motors, radical cams, and no smog crap, even going slow sounded mean. Gas was cheap and Sunoco 260 could fuel the beasts.

Exactly Chris! Valid point! This specimen here below is a prime example of a level 5 mall crawler. He doesent even need to park on any curbs to get maximum mall crawl status.

To be considered a true mall-crawler, is it necessary to have large, vision-blocking stickers advertising the latest energy drink or southern california surf company in your rear window??

No. You can reach the Cat 5 mall crawl without them. However, the ones with the stickers generally like to think their Mall Crawl rig is sponsered by whoever sent them the stickers. Being as its not yet a sanctioned event, one must pretend.
