Here's my old stand by, that I decided to put my Spikes Tactical Lower on and possibly sell off my Bushmaster Lower for the right price or trade.

    The perks of being LEO...

    :jerk off:

I'm currently trying to convince my dad to get one that rock and rolls through his PD

Once you retire do you have to convert it back or semi auto or how does that work?

Local gun shop had pmags for $60. Metal ones for $40. It's nuts.

It is semi-auto....just liked the look of the red paint when I saw the lower. I can't afford the actual fun switch. I had access to a full auto MP5 for a few years. That went away too. But yes...any Class 3 stuff I have to sell to another officer, or surrender.

This one is my personal owned AR. It's semi-auto, so yes, I'll be able to keep it.

I doubt many people go to the range and do mag dumps of $19 a box of 75gr TAP ammo.
I can however go to the range and practice with 55gr Winchester white box, then go home and load a mag of 75gr TAP for home defense use and be confident that it'll perform as it should. I do it for handguns, why wouldn't you do the same for rifles and shotguns?

I told you this in another thread, you're not the only person to have worked a gunshop. Dial back the gunshop condescending tone in your posts.
An attack would be more like this; You were 14 when the AWB sunset and have been able to legally own a handgun for a year!

I'm no longer in the industry but have been there. You on the other hand still are and are a biased opinion. How does someone know you're not just talking up a brand because that's all you can get from Davidson's distributors?
It was very frustrating at times when you want to inform people about quality parts, products, but have to push whatever the owner had on hand because it was a deal.

...and this is why you don't talk gun information on truck forums. This same argument has been hashed out 1,000 times on every gun forum.

My baby, typical CMMG AR with all the goodies. Have a combo LR .22 upper as well as a 555/223 upper to save on range costs but still have the feel for the gun in case the day arrises.

I think i'm in the right place for some advice.. What i'm looking for:

AR style .22lr A friend of mine has an S&W M&P 15-22 price range 450-500.
After searching around the web i've seen the Mossberg Tactical .22 price range 240-300.

I've read some good and bad reviews on the mossberg, just wondering if anyone has first hand experience with either gun.. I'm looking to buy one that is cheap to own and cheap to shoot..

The mossberg is good. atleast the 5.56 is good. so i can imagine the .22 wont be that bad. i have seen it for around $275-$300
