Trying P90x again. Day 3/90 so far. Did the plyometrics workout yesterday and am feeling sore in muscles that I probably haven't used in a very long time. I totally forgot you can select "Silence and Cues" so you don't have to listen to that moron trainer host the whole time, because he never stops talking. I stopped about 60 days into it the last time because the workouts were an hour long and didn't have the time for it then but now I think I can really get into it. Some people may knock P90x and those like it, but I have a real problem doing the same workouts every other day, and am not creative enough to come up with my own. The "muscle confusion" concept that P90x focuses on seems to work for me.

I'm the same way. When I used to way myself everyday I'd have big fluctuations. Now a days I weigh myself around once a week. I'm sure some of the increase is because I just started using a pre workout (super pump), those things usually bloat me up pretty good.

What's everyone's thoughts about how to eat when you workout really late? Say I lift at 8, done around 9 and I need to sleep around 10. Do I take a shake at 9, eat a little, and then Casein at 10? Shake after, no meal, and then casein? Shake after, meal, and no casein?Just curious as I find myself not quite sure what to do when I lift later than I'd like...

Why casein? Just take a fat source with the protein source to slow the digestion...$ saved

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
My shoulders are about 90% but no more bench for me.....ever! MAYBE floor press but hand stand push ups (and static holds) have been very good to my shoulders.

Looking forward to getting back into it. Going to do an upper/lower split for awhile and keep calories in check (prob maintenance?) and try to slowly re-comp/cut!

I seem to get soft around the mid section as soon as I slack off on running so I need to keep that in there too!

What do you guys think of doing 2 a days? 20-30 min jog fasted in the AM "a la Rocky style" and then upper/lower split 4days a week in the late afternoon?

I prefer my cardio in the AM fasted and then train weights in the evening....just do what you can be consistent in.
