No, it is actually supposed to be a new beginning. I suspect they just ran out of paper when they were making their calendar and just said- Fuck it.

No, it's when the Mayan gods return to Earth. It has nothing to do with destruction, but rather rebirth.

    Tch 98Tacoma27 beat me lol.

You only HOPE it's a new beginning. I propose that it's when the universe will stop expanding and start contracting.

There are lots of other threads that discuss that.

I get about 19-20 city and up to 19-22 Highway depending on wind/ how fast I drive. I've got rather large AT tires though.

Ah ha! the light bulb just came on for me. If they did that, they wouldn't have to develop anything new. They'd just have to ramp up production.

check my sig for mod list and build thread
i really dont see them being able to force that rule down every truck owners throat if the truck was purchased before 2016. that would get rid of about half of america's workforce if not more. if it does get passed i think we will be seeing a lot more diesel motors being introduced.

whaa whaa whaa.. they already have a six cylinder that produces more horse power than a eight cylinder. saw it on the news last night. it was bound to happen. they had an engine that got 40MPG back in 1940, but an oil company bought it, and shelved it.

I agree. That's why they have to bring the diesel. It's the only way a truck can still work like a truck and get close to 30mpg.

I can't believe some of you guys are cool with the Gov't telling companies what they type of vehicle they can and can't build, and telling consumers what they can and can't buy and drive. They want you not to drive fast cars, SUVs and 4X4s today. Tomorrow it will be something else, there is already talk among some about stupid high taxes on "luxury items" like boats, ATVs, PWCs, and such. They're not "necessary", so why have them? It's a slippery slope guys. Look at the folks wanting to raise taxes on sugar. They say it will promote healthier life styles. Then what? Taxes so high on beef that you can't buy a T-bone? Obama and his crew really believe they know what is best for us, so they are going to take our decision making out of the equation so we don't have to worry with it.
