I've probably spent more in spray paints and dye.

    +1

That picture of Monte's truck was my favorite on TW for a long time.

Paint them wheels black and call it a day IMO

But I have enjoyed watching Monte turn his truck into a Frankenstein UFO

No they are really really bright. Once I get the resistors in and setup I plan on getting them aimed a bit more properly as well.

Well Friday after work I went down some dirt roads and got into the ditches since they were pretty muddy. Well When I got done playing in the mud and headed home I noticed a growl coming from the front end when I used the brakes. Knowing I needed new pads in the front I already had them, just had to get off my butt and put them on. So I was outside last night freezing doing the brakes from 8pm to 11pm it was 32 degrees out. And let me tell ya the passenger side does not like to be worked on. It took forever to get the one piston in the caliper to go down. And when I did the lift that side gave me trouble too. The driver side only took 30mins.

No they're trail gear. I'm pretty certain that's what I paid for them but they've gone up in price since then.

And that was kind of a rough estimate of the cost to build the truck up similar to what I have. I've spent quite a bit more than that, and honestly until now I've never tallied up the costs haha:eek:

    Soooo...

    OME lift - $650
    Front bumper - $500
    Sliders - $130
    Belly armor - $750? (ouch)
Tub firewall, bed bob, rear bumper - $250[IMG]
    35"s x4 @ $221 - Lets say $900
    15" wheels x4 - $200
    Winch - $300
    Regear - $1k

    Matching spare - $270
    Synthetic winch line - $280
    Herculiner - $120
    Various labor - $450
    Recovery gear - $200?
    Brakes/rotors - $120
    Magnaflow - $130
    CB stuff - $100?
    Spare axle - $100
    Optima Yellow Top - $250

Not to mention all the various odds and ends and stuff I've bought and then sold at a fraction of the cost or given away.

    So around $6,700+

    Soon to be much more.:D

Don't take this the wrong way, but while you are using defrost, do you have the air on recirc or fresh?

    Never use recirc when defrosting.
If you truly are using fresh air, then you're heater core is fucked.

If its leaking it can release a lot of moisture into the heated air maybe? Hence the major fogging up. I'm not being a dick, idk and taking a stab at it :D

Yeah, it seems slightly bent/lower. I should be able to make it straight again. The truck is came off had the chrome bumper and upper pad but it got hit on that side. Nothing HEAT and some tuggin' won't remedy..

If his heater core is FUBAR would it still blow hot air?

Seems to me his AC is jacked up... hence not dehumidifying the moist air and just blowing it onto the windshield causing it condense on the cold glass.

I've always heard that if you have a leaky door seal or window seal, it will make the windows fog up.
