If I upgrade the stereo in this truck, I have to get something that looks stock. Wife's orders. She hates aftermarket stereos if they don't look right.

after spending 20+ minutes responding to PM's from cheap ass mericans I decided the potential $4 profit wasn't worth my time.
IMO single din head units don't look right in 2nd gens.

I'm not too concerned about that, the dash kit is close enough for me. Only thing I want is to make sure the unit I buy has colours similar to the stock dash lights

I hate the look of stock lights against some other bright colour lol

Re-do your gauges in your truck? I wanted to when I had the old truck.

My only concern with the dd units is scratching of the screen. How's your unit work in the cold? Any issues with lag or sensitivity?

I don't trust my self to do it and I can't find anywhere here to do it for a reasonable price

That sucks. Not good with a soldering iron yet? I had a week long course on just soldering small stuff for work. Still would rather have an extra cluster to mess with if I was doing it.

    Hmm good to know
No don't use a soldering iron too often. I tried to find a spare cluster and they wanted way too much for it at a scrap yard

if you want to keep satellite radio you'll need one that's satellite radio ready, doesn't look like either head unit you posted is sat radio ready.

I don't care for sat radio. Had it for years and sick of the repetitiveness of it. No better then standard radio IMO
