What did you guys have BEFORE the tacoma???

I have allways had the need for a pickup, the last one was a 2WD GMC Sierra and it did me well for 13 years and 163,000 miles.

 

2002 Dodge Cummins. Mods in sig. Around 725hp/1400tq sold it in September when I found out I am gonna be a dad.
Just sold this beast a couple weeks ago. This makes the 4th older Toyota pickup I've owned. I absolutely love these trucks.



Went and bought this a few days ago:



Gonna do a deck plate and eventually put some 18 inch fuel wheels on it. It's just a mall crawler and something to haul my child around. I don't plan on off roading it.

So sick! Love the Avant. Actually put money down on an 02' B5 S4 but went with the 05 Tacoma at the time. Hopefully trading in my fiances Kia for A4 avant in the near future. Love Audi's!! My favorite cars! Never owned one ... Yet!!

Honestly the 5.0 v8's in the ford and mercury were great engines. Totalled the explorer, the mercury has about 190k on it and is now my father in-laws Dailey driver, gets 22mpg highway

 

my first car when i was 16 was a 2004 ford focus se 5 speed, was a fun little car



then i bought a 1999 dodge dakota 4x4 it was also a 5 speed with the 5.2l magnum engine, i sold both cars to get my tacoma

2001 Jeep Cherokee (totaled), 2001 Durango

I wish I had never wrecked that Jeep. The Durango was nice but I got sick of fixing it and it ended up totaling itself by having more go wrong with it at once than the truck was worth. Toyota dealer gave me 2500 or so and I took it smiling.

All were bought bone stock and messed up...I mean modified by me.
I'm sure it wont be long till I'm modding the Taco, oh wait I already am, ordered the OME before I even had the keys to the truck.

 

The Tacoma is my first vehicle!

 

This would be an interesting mod to resurrect today.
