hell of a ball game...never even thought our D would keep us in it like they did...

I was actually surprised to see so many LSU d guys getting helped off the field over the course of the 4th qtr...

and like i said...easily one of the best bowls this season...

Is Boyd a senior? If so, how good is his backup?

Not meaning to down play your game but the SECCG was something else. I mean as long as it's been for us to be in the big game and to come oh so close. :goingcrazy: Took a while to get over it, and now I'm not very pumped for our bowl tomorrow. And I'm afraid that will be the players mentality also. I feel like nothing but disappointment can come from the game.

    Congrats on the W.

That hug was hilarious. However, I really like seeing the passion Dabo has for his team... it's nice to see a coach that appears that dedicated.

WOOT! And GT won .... amazing :D

Definitely a great game to watch!

Haha... I loved watching USC lose that game just because I can't stand Lane Kiffin. And it only took us 7 consecutive bowl losses, an NCAA waiver, and to fire our DC to get that win.

Good luck in your game tomorrow. UGA plays the way they did in the SECCG and I think its lights out.

And of course we don't have our big guy in the middle for the game either. :(

    I was too.

I felt dirty cheerin for you guys. haha. Just felt all wrong. I just hate USC that much, though.

If we can play the way we did against Bama, Nebraska has no shot. I just really don't think that intensity will be there, though.

well i wasn't expecting a chick fil a bowl win. the acc might actually have a winning bowl record for once. but who am i kidding, i'm abandoning the effort to be good at football (its hopeless) and jumping on the basketball bandwagon. with the new big east teams coming in and hopefully the historic acc teams getting back to relevance the acc should reign supreme and i'll be content to be best bball conference if can't be best football.

Hold on Georgia boys. Don't take that fight out of dem dawgs just yet. I'm shocked to read ya'll down playin' dem dawgs like that. Georgia played a good game against Bama and just let go right at the end. They fought harder for that title than those gamecocks against Alburn.

D... you LSU. Clemson beat LSU limping. LSU didnt even have half their starters on defense. And LSU left there offense back in Baton Rouge. They just didnt show. I believe if LSU would want to have won they would have.
But from what little bit i've saw LSU having them close games from some weaker teams like Ark, Aub, ole miss, Clemson, they never did play that good against them. Maybe its the O not playing good in them games.
The best I see them ever play was agaist Bama, LSU's o line blocking, QB completing passes and they could run the ball.
But in this game LSU's offensive made sorry clemson's D look like their D should be ranked top ten in the country.

I think, I may be wrong I heard a sports announcer said that earlier this year LSU had problems with their O line. The coach went back and fixed it, they said, and now they are back where they started. I think he should go back and work with the O line some more. Or even fire the Offensive coordinator.

That O line came back and haunted yall. Reason I say that is LSU couldnt handle the blitz. They could have handled that if they would go into shotgun to get the QB off the line, and some how make O line block good and you got a good QB that could pass the ball and run a little to get extra yards.
Now I aint much on passing the ball much but, they are usually pretty good at running the ball, but not this time because of no one blocking. (Yeah they got a few good runs but Clemson fixed most of that by blitzing.) Which LSU you could have threw right over the blitz but NO BODY WAS BLOCKING resulting in a sack. We cant be having that.
I hate pocket passers like Mettenberger that stay back there all day knowing that he is going to get sacked if they dont see no one open and Clemson coming at you with 6 guys from the line.

Im not a LSU fan but was pulling for them because I dont like Clemson, I'm a Carolina fan.
Dabo saying they are close to being and elite team.pshhhh. He needs to come back to reality, they are a long ways from being an elite team. Guess after this game going into next season he is going to get the big head thinking yeah we're elite and cannot be beaten now since we finally beat a half way showed up SEC team.
