I'm not sure I want to start the new year with car payments. I would like some advice from you guys. So my truck have been paid off for almost a year now. Its a DCSB Trd sport prerunner with 59k miles in almost excellent condition. The truck I want to look at is a 2011 DCSB TRD sport 4x4 with about 95k miles. That's a lot of miles for a 2011. It has a 1 owner clean carfax. There's a few thing I lose and gain from this.

IMHO. i would. but than agin i don’t know some go with out 4x4. i could and would never own a 2wd truck or suv.

thats one reason why it took me like 3 or 4 months to find my truck. i found a bunch of pre runners. but i had to have 4x4.

Its just my opinion, but too many miles unless you know the original owner. I learned that dealers can make any used car look great. What if some dick wad horse beat it for a year or two and racked up 95K? I know its a Taco, but be careful.

wow 95k? id keep looking for a lower mileage truck man...you can find one for sure somewhere. even if its an 09 or something.

my 08 has 102k but if i was getting a new truck id find one with at least 50-65k on the clock

No. Too many miles. If you are going to spend that much money already, come up with another $6K and buy new with options you want.

I wouldn't touch that other truck. Talk to a dealership about a trade in - you'll lose less money and get your pick of the lot.

Billies on all four corners with daystar spacer lift. Bought it like this. Replacing done with toytec ultimate 3" lift
I wouldn't pay that for a 2011 4x4 with 98k miles on it. I found an 07 sport and I am paying 13500 for it and it has 116k miles on it.

Save some money and put in an ARB locker.

You would be surprised what a locker can do off road.

Save your money. Keep searching or purchase a set of studded tires or Blizzaks for better traction.

    No way!

Surely you can get a 4x4 with low mileage for around the same price as the one you're looking at. Do you have to have the TRD package? I would ditch it to save money before I bought one with higher mileage.

I payed 17 bills, tags title out the door, on my 07 DC sport 4x4 with 95,000. It had a spotless Carfax with every oil change and recomended maintnance at the toyota dealer from original PO, had all reciepts as well. I went in with cash money, really made the difference IMHO.

I looked at four other Taco's, two had less miles but didnt look nearly as good as the one I purchased, high miles don't always dictate a abused vehicle.
