    Ran a beginner carbine (instructor development) course preparing for our classes in 2013. Needless to say it was 32-36 degrees all day and snowed on us a few times.

    i am holding out and checking with the shop that i got my lower from. they make BCG also and i am gonna see if they got any in stock. i might be shooting myself in the foot and passing up on them not but oh well.

    if you need some back up springs Amazon has them for like $6 a set for the lower and i think like $4 for the upper.

    You'd be smart to swap out the lower parts kit IMO. The hammer, trigger pins, and even your detente are polymer on those things. And keep in mind that even though it's strong, it's still plastic. Had a guy that ripped out the threads on his trip screw because he tightened it down with too much force.

    Only issues I've seen from them have spawned from user error. Overall: if you're looking for a cheap, light build, they're outstanding. Just make sure to treat the weapon accordingly :thumbsup:

    Phase 5 is a local shop to me. I had a chance to check out a lower of theirs yesterday. It actually was much better quality than I had been expecting, and they finish on it was well done (no knicks or chips).

    I came across a POF ambidextrous mag catch today. Nice little part to have for a rainy day :D
